The reception hall has a kitchen and more, there is a very place behind the reception hall where one can say there wedding vows. It's a absolutely beautiful view of the lake! Hubby and I are considering saying our vows over at this magnificent location!

Very beautiful in a spring time. My wife and I walked today around the lake before the sunset, it seems a really best time to enjoy the views and the weather

One of my favorite parks. Has playgrounds lake ball fields courts trails and a nice pond for fishing and more.

My wedding was a true dream here!!! It looked fabulous!! I got married May 26th 2024. I'm leaving this review based on different aspects:

VENUE: IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!! Hydrangeas lined the walkway, all the flowers were in bloom, and all the bushes were manicured. The trellis also looked amazing and well kept. I used Quixotic Fiestas (they serve NJ and NC) for my decor and they made the place look gorgeous. You can also see how beautiful it is and how great my pictures looked. I did a first look with my dad in the trail off to the right side and it was a nice spot as well... though visually in person it doesn't look like it, the pics turned out really nice.

BOOKING: Booking was super easy, they have viewing days/times (I think Mondays and tuesdays?) So I was able to visit the place and speak to the ranger who monitors. Then you call and book over the phone and submit your payment. Over all very easy. The only confusing thing was the alcohol permit, the number of drinks they say is the max, doesn't make sense unless each person only has 1 drink for the duration of a 4 hr event (but the rangers are not there during your event at all, they show up to open, set up, and close the venue)

SETUP AND RENTALS: This is my only PEEVE! The administrative office that does the booking, asks you to send the setup that you want to use for your day, since they handle the tables and chairs. They have the option of using either rectangle or circular tables and they have black folding chairs. I sent them a detailed picture of the setup I wanted and told them not to worry about the chairs, since I had rented white resin chairs since I don't like chair covers, personally I just think it doesn't look as high-end and chic. This was about 4 days before the wedding and I received a response I said that they do not allow outside vendors for chairs or tables Because it would damage their floors. Obviously receiving this with such a short notice on a thursday, when my wedding is on sunday, totally put me in a panic. The director of parks and recs told me that they would have prove it if I bought some silicone cups that fully covered the bottom of the chairs, thankfully I was able to find some online and get them overnighted but I did incur an extra expense that I was not accounting for. The director mentioned that this is all listed out in the page that they give you when you go and visit the place but I received new page and neither did my husband who was with me. Also they have a contract that you sign online that gives you details, things like not having open flames, I reviewed that and there was nothing listed about chair or table rentals from outside vendors.

After getting that resolved, on the day of the wedding, I received a call from my Decor person saying that they had put out round tables instead of rectangular tables and they had already left and locked the storage room. This was quite annoying because I had purchased Linens for the rectangular tables not round ones, so now all the table covers looked wonky. Obviously, I'm a roll with a punches type of person and we just dealt with it, but it was very annoying because I gave them a very detailed picture of the setup, I actually used the rendering that they provide themselves on their website

All in all the venue is absolutely gorgeous and I am recommending it to everyone I just hope that the administration does better
