Impossible to find an employee for assistsnce. We even called the store while IN the store asking for assistance. We were promised someone was paged and would meet us in the dept we needed assistance with; no one ever showed up. We went to self check out to speak w a staff member; Alivia was very helpful and genuinely did her best to find someone to help us. Once she finally found someone after trying for about 10 min +, someone on the radio claimed they would meet us in the dept we needed help in. Again, we walked to the dept and no one showed up. After a little over an hour in the store looking for a staff member we found Jess and he was phenomenal. He took the time to find the item that was not in the correct area of the store (according to the website, and their inventory checker). Very pleased with Alivia and Jess' customer service. Unfortunately, we wasted so much time trying to find a staff member, we will refrain from shopping at this location in the future. Home depot nearby has much better customer service!

I have been going to this for 25 years customer service through out the departments have been declining. No one ever ask if they can help you with finding anything.
Sunday Jan 5 2024 was painful to shop there. I needed a piece of plywood ripped. I had to measure it out for them. The saw operator was lost on how to use there saw and to make it worse after the cut it was off by 4 inches. Don’t know how he did it.
They just ate that 80.00 piece of plywood. So I the customer had to go get another piece of plywood so another person could cut again.
Going to start using Home Depot they seem to be on there game with helping customers it can’t be any worse

Stoped at Lowe’s Orange City today, asked one employee to help me , he pointed to another employee and said she would help me.
When I asked her to help me she stated that “ I don’t really work for Lowe’s I just water plants” funny be she was wearing a vest that said Lowe’s
I then asked if she couldn’t could she call someone who could she said she didn’t have a radio. After asking again for her to call someone who could help me and getting nothing I went to find the first employee. As I was again asking if he couldn’t help me could he call someone who could. At that time the woman who claimed she didn’t really work for Lowe’s approached me and started to verbally confront and called me a derogatory name

I’ve been waiting by the wood cut area on and off for over an hour. We paid for the wood and spoke to the sales associate several times and still no one has helped us. Had we not already paid for the wood, we would have left it and gone to Home Depot. This level of customer service is unacceptable.

We had an LG refrigerator we purchased and even with an extended warranty it broke. Now have a whirlpool we purchased on 9/23/24 and already have issues which we are directed to contact Whirlpool. The employee said to do it online because it's quicker. Yeah, they're closed on the weekend so I can't even contact anyone till Monday at the earliest.
They are self check out with am employee posted to 'watch you'. Service is horrible, can't find employees anywhere. Orange City Florida store is just sad anymore

Had to purchase a new water heater. Staff was very helpful. Then had to exchange it for a different size. Everyone was great! Helped unload & reload the water heaters from my truck. Made the exchange smooth & easy. PLUS stopped in the Garden Department and the employee there was more then helpful! I am new to Florida and wasn't sure which plants would grow well. He took the time to discuss what would grow best for the areas around my home. Needless to say I left with new plants for my new home! Will definetly be back for more! So nice to havr friendly, helpful & knowledgeable people in every department!

I will no longer be supporting Lowes with my time or money. I recently was informed from a good friend that he was banned from the store because he simply stated that he supported the republican candidate that was taking office And that was it. Ledys the Pro manager proceeded to call him a White supremacist and ban him from the store because of his views, which from my understanding is discrimination.
Ive seen customers cuss out employees and call them derogatory terms and no one batted an eye. The moment someone had a different opinion about whom they supported they were banned from the store. This completely unprofessional and down right UnAmerican. I cannot support a Company that allows this kind of behavior.
Ill happily be taking my contracting business elsewhere. Good bye lowes, we had a good run.

Right around the corner from the house, staff is nice and helpful. The self check out has had issues every time I’ve been there but besides that I’ve always found what I needed and more. Recently did my counter tops with stuff I found at this location. Always fun tinkering
