I had blood drawn at Paml Thursday, October 17th. I was accompanied by my 17 year old daughter as I have been dealing with a range of health issues and wanted family with me for support. The moment we walked into the office we were treated like an imposition. Brenda was absolutely rude and disrespectful. I asked if my daughter could join me while I had my blood drawn to which Brenda replied, "only if she doesn't get in my way."

I own a business in Missoula and strive to treat all of the people who walk through the doors with kindness and respect. My livelihood depends on returning customers and referrals. If there is one thing I have learned in the twenty years I have worked in this industry is you have no idea what the person walking through your doors is experiencing in their lives. Everyone should be treated with respect, everyone.

The fact that Brenda was so blatantly rude to both my daughter and myself speaks poorly of her as a person in a "caring profession." My advice to her would be to find another profession, hopefully one in which she has no contact with the public. My advice to the management of Paml, if you continue to employ people like her your business will suffer.

Next time my physician orders blood work for myself or my family I will most certainly not return to Paml. Word of mouth can be the best advertising but on the flip side it can also be the worst.

Staff was rude and unprofessional. When she poked my arm, she couldn't get the vein and proceeded to move the needle around inside my arm in search of the vein...one of the worst feelings in the world. After all that, she never got any blood and had to poke me again in the other arm! On this arm it hurt more than a normal prick because I think she shoved it in deeper than normal to make sure she got blood this time. I left the place in a sweaty mess and in pain and felt like a pincushion. I've had many blood draws in my life and never before has this happened. Terrible experience.

I come to PAML in Missoula to have my blood drawn frequently, I love all the girls that work there and they are always such a pleasure to see and visit with. I always know when i come in they will have a smile on their face and no matter what mood i am in I know I will leave there smiling as well. 11/16/16
